On the beginning of December I saw a large flock of waxwings (Bombycilla garrulus) eating rowanberries just few meters away from the bus stop I was standing by. Few were eating the berries, the rest of the flock was chirping farther away on a tall birch tree. Because I rarely see these birds in the wild, I was really happy and inspired to paint this.
And because it's wintery themed, I made it a Christmas card. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone! |
